Softcover Book Printing
The sample combines a dark navy textured PU softcover with rounded corners, an elastic closure, two ribbon markers and an expandable pocket inside the back cover. Its flexible construction gives the notebook a slimmer profile than a conventional rigid hardcover.
The inner pages use 100 gsm offset paper with a ruled writing layout. Finished size, page count, PU material, cover branding, page layout and accessory colors can be customized for branded stationery and bulk orders. Cover artwork and interior pages are produced from buyer-supplied files.
The PU cover has a fine leather-style texture and follows the shape of the page block without the thick rigid boards used in a conventional hardcover. Rounded cover and page corners create a consistent profile around the notebook.
PU color, texture and thickness can be selected according to the required appearance. When an exact brand color or surface grain is important, the chosen material should be confirmed using a physical swatch or finished sample.
An elastic band runs vertically near the fore edge to keep the notebook closed during storage and transport. The band length, tension and fixing position are matched to the finished notebook size and thickness.
Two ribbon markers allow separate page positions to be identified without folding the page corners. Ribbon and elastic colors can match the PU cover or use a contrasting combination.
A folded pocket is attached inside the back cover for holding cards, notes, receipts and small printed inserts. Its expandable structure provides additional capacity while remaining flat when empty.
Pocket dimensions should be confirmed according to the finished notebook size. If a specific insert will be placed inside, its dimensions and thickness should be provided before sampling.
The sample uses 100 gsm offset paper with an uncoated surface suitable for handwriting. The visible interior includes ruled pages and a personal information page near the front.
Line spacing, margins, introductory pages, logos and other printed elements can be changed in the buyer-supplied interior PDF. Ruled, blank, dotted, grid or other customized page layouts can be produced according to the approved file.
Foil stamping can be applied to a supplied logo, title or selected graphic. Foil color and placement can be coordinated with the PU cover and notebook accessories.
Because PU texture affects how fine artwork transfers, foil areas should be supplied as vector graphics on a separate finishing layer. Small lettering, narrow lines and large solid areas are checked during physical sampling before bulk production.

A physical sample allows the PU color and texture, foil-stamped artwork, elastic tension, ribbon length, pocket opening and page ruling to be checked together.
The completed sample also confirms the notebook thickness, rounded corners and opening performance. Any necessary adjustments are completed before the approved specification enters bulk production.
