One minimalist cover layout is shown across grey, green, navy and pink notebook versions. Each sample combines geometric color blocks, oversized typography and simple line graphics with a slim saddle-stitched structure.
The cover uses 350 gsm coated-one-side paper with CMYK printing and matte lamination. Multiple cover colors and coordinated color combinations can be customized for stationery brands, educational projects, promotional programs and wholesale notebook collections.
The current samples retain the same white background and graphic structure while changing the main accent color. This creates recognizable variations without making each notebook look like an unrelated product.
Grey, green, navy and pink are shown in the photographed series, but they are not a fixed color range. Multiple colors and coordinated color combinations can be customized for a single notebook or a larger stationery collection.
When several cover versions share one interior file, the artwork name and required quantity for each colorway should be listed separately to keep proofing, production and packing clearly organized.
The 350 gsm coated-one-side paper gives the notebook a stronger cover while retaining the flexibility of a softcover format. It is suitable for the slim structure created by saddle stitching.
CMYK printing reproduces the solid color blocks, typography and geometric graphics. Matte lamination reduces surface reflection and protects the printed cover against light scuffing during packing, transportation and handling.
Foil stamping can be added to selected text or graphic areas as an optional finish. Foil artwork should be supplied on a separate vector layer with the required position clearly marked.
Folded sheets are secured with staples through the center fold. This creates a lightweight notebook with a folded spine rather than the square printed spine found on a perfect-bound book.
The inner paper and page count should be confirmed together because both affect folding, trimming and the finished thickness. Saddle-stitched page counts are normally arranged in multiples of four.
For projects requiring a square spine or a higher page count, view our other softcover book printing formats.

The cover file should contain the back and front covers in one correctly sized spread, with the fold position and bleed included. This binding does not require a separate flat-spine panel.
Interior pages should be supplied as a print-ready PDF in the final reading order. Before proofing, the files can be checked for finished size, page count, bleed, margins, image resolution and separate finishing layers.
If several colorways use the same interior, only the cover files and quantities need to be identified separately. Versions with different interior content should use clear file names to prevent mixing during production.
A physical sample allows the printed colors, matte surface, cover folding, staple position and trimming to be reviewed together. It also confirms whether the selected inner paper and page count work correctly with the saddle-stitched construction.
For a multi-color series, the approved samples or confirmed color references are used to compare consistency across the different versions during printing and quality inspection.
Suitable buyers include stationery brands, educational publishers, corporate procurement teams, promotional merchandise suppliers and notebook distributors.
The same cover structure can be produced in several coordinated colorways, with shared or separate interior files. Individual packaging, barcode labels and other retail packing requirements can also be quoted for bulk orders.
