Sprayed Edges Book Printing
The decorative effect of this fantasy hardcover changes as the book is handled. From the front, the teal illustrated case and foil accents establish the cover design. Along the closed book block, a floral pattern becomes the main edge feature. Once the cover is opened, matching full-color endpapers continue the same artwork inside.
This coordinated format is produced in bulk from supplied cover, interior, edge and endpaper files. Each surface can be adjusted separately while retaining one consistent visual direction across the finished edition.

The contrast between these three views gives publishers more usable artwork space without changing the standard reading format of the novel.
The same case size, binding and interior paper can be retained across several volumes while changing the floral pattern and color combination for each title. This creates visible variation between books without losing consistency across the series.
Matching ribbon bookmarks, dust jackets or slipcases can also be added when several volumes are sold together as a collector set.
