Sprayed Edges Book Printing
This special-edition hardcover novel extends the supplied illustration beyond the cover through a coordinated patterned page edge. The warm burgundy cover artwork, selective foil details and botanical edge pattern create a complete edition rather than three unrelated finishes.
Produced in bulk for publishers and book brands, the format can be customized for collector releases, retailer-exclusive editions and coordinated fiction series.
CMYK artwork wraps across the front cover, spine and back cover to form the main visual layer. Foil is then applied only to selected titles, borders or decorative elements, allowing the metallic details to stand out without covering the illustration.
The printed paper is wrapped over rigid greyboard to form the hardcover case. Square or rounded spines can be selected according to the page count and preferred appearance.
Colors and visual elements from the cover can be carried onto the trimmed book edge. In this edition, the botanical edge pattern follows the burgundy and gold direction of the cover while remaining clearly visible when the book is closed.

This format allows publishers to create a recognizable special edition without changing the main reading structure of the novel. Cover artwork, foil areas and edge patterns can be changed between volumes while retaining the same size, paper and binding across the series.
